Torsion Adapter

Providing up to 25 degrees internal and 25 degrees external rotation the Torsion Adapter allows for more natural movement in a prosthesis.

The adapter has a torsion spring that provides minimum fixed resistance to twisting. Polyurethane rods, offered in three stiffness levels, and set screws determine additional resistance. Torsion Adapter has a threaded 4-hole pattern distally and threaded proximal end. Composed of aluminum and stainless steel, the Torsion Adapter may be used in transtibial or transfemoral applications.
