8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Technical Workshop (W7): CAD/CAM Modifications Design Essentials (Part 1)
Roger Wagner, CPO, will present this highly informational, hands-on workshop that examines how CAD technology enables O&P technicians, assistants, and practitioners to easily modify scanned images in preparation for fabrication. Featured in the workshop is OMEGA® CAD Software by WillowWood. Emphasis is placed on its user interface, workspace, and work on tools as they relate to transtibial and transfemoral socket fabrication. Attendees will work directly with CAD software throughout this full-day course. Part 2 of this workshop will be offered in the afternoon.

Wednesday, February 14
1:00 to 3:00 p.m
Technical Workshop (W14): WillowWood One System Certification
Participants in this two-hour instructor- led training session will receive an overview of the key aspects of fitting patients with the WillowWood One System, a socket suspension system that improves socket fit, function, and comfort through advances in liner technology and seal design. Course topics include patient selection, component function, shape capture, socket fitting, and vacuum parameter adjustment.

Wednesday, February 14
1:00 to 5:00 p.m
Technical Workshop (W23): CAD/CAM Modifications Design Essentials (Part 2)
Roger Wagner, CPO, will present this highly informational, hands-on workshop that examines how CAD technology enables O&P technicians, assistants, and practitioners to easily modify scanned images in preparation for fabrication. Featured in the workshop is OMEGA® CAD Software by WillowWood. Emphasis is placed on its user interface, workspace, and work on tools as they relate to AFO and TLSO fabrication. Attendees will work directly with CAD software throughout the course.

3:00 to 5:00 p.m
Technical Workshop (W15): Alpha Liners
This two-hour seminar provides an overview of the various options available in the Alpha Liner product family. Participants will learn the characteristics and applications of the various types of interface materials and profiles, recommended cast and modification criteria, the concept of “retrofitting,” volume management, and post-delivery assessments.

Friday, February 16
Free Paper: Multiaxial In-socket Movement and Its Relationship to Fit
Understanding how the socket moves relative to the residual limb will enable better socket and suspension designs, improve evidence-based practice, and allow for better functional outcomes for the prosthesis user. Here we quantify vertical and horizontal movement of the limb and how this data changes with socket fit.
Presented by Matthew Wernke, PhD
